Loved American Grafitti as well... it was the inspiration for Happy Days...

But what about the sequel?  More American Grafitti?

Never saw it...

Okay, I'm not a Tom Hanks fan.  I LOVED HIM in "Bosom Buddies".  I don't know why but I just don't care for him that much, sorry.  Don't even try!! ...I've seen "SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE" AND "YOU'VE GOT MAIL"  and that's about it...LOVE MEG RYAN...and he's actually tolerable with HER.  However, *DUCKS* I've never seen 'FORREST GUMP'...sue me.  THE SOUNDTRACK, however, is AWESOME!!

Next...because it was mentioned on DB's board (in a roundabout way), another one that is EXCELLENT (and a great representation of the times--not just the year, but the era, and the changes that are in the wind...) is "AMERICAN GRAFFITI"--one of my favorites!! (and a TON of people got a big break in that movie...there's tons of people in that movie that were virtually UNKNOWN until that movie came out.)

And...@ PEGS: Sorry, better late than NEVER:  Kiss

I like "HELP!" WAYYY BETTER THAN "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT"!!  I love that movie...LOL!! And, the soundtrack to "Help!" has what very few Beatles songs that I can still hear without my ears bleeding.  LOL!!  AND--omg...I LOVED THEIR HOUSE!  Cool  I loved the "spy movie" incidental music...HOWEVAH--my VERY, VERY, VERYVERYVERY favorite Beatles song is on "A HARD DAY'S NIGHT"--"I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER."

And I hope this link goes to where I want it to...their music streams live on the site...Google 'em if ya can't get it to open, or just consider the source...(aka, welcome to MY BRAIN. heh.)  WELL WORTH IT!!

Sorry, it was a cardinal sin on Chicago Chat to assume you were correct...heh.

Howevah, to be honest--I don't have one.  You can go for me, Mikey.  Those were good, BTW.

Okay...so, this is just an FYI THING?  Or am I still not gettin' this?  Undecided Sorry.  I think it's me.  Thanks for both of y'all's answers...

44  Beyond the Horizon / Cornucopia / Re: Forgotten Music Thursdays on: August 25, 2010, 07:14:34 pm
So, Welcome to my Brain...I don't understand.

So, we have to talk about stuff that's already been blogged about on those blogs listed, or, what those particular individuals (NICE SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION TO OUR IMFAMOUS Powers That Be...) just blogged about? Yes? No?  Those topics?  Our Own?

...then there's that once a month deal.  Well, that might be **** on a WELL-KNOWN site...but, if there's under 25 people, it should be WEEKLY...If I came in (as a new person who's never been here...) and had a viable thought/post, they might not wanna wait until the next one...just sayin'.   Hell, I won't remember THIS in about 15 minutes. :|
45  Classic Rock / The 70s / Re: Genesis on: August 19, 2010, 02:30:07 pm
After Hackett and Gabriel left, I stopped listening...I TOTALLY DISLIKE Phil Collins.  (and I still maintain HE was the prototype for the CABBAGE PATCH KIDS DOLLS.  heh.)

The LIVE AID thing was SO STUPID...remember--they kept having UPDATES all day...He's in the air!  He's at the airport!  He's gettin' on the plane!  It's landing!! Roll Eyes why didn't he perform at Wembley, and take the MONEY HE SPENT ON THE HELICOPTERS AND THE CONCORDE and just DONATE IT?  It would've made a WAYYYYY better impression!!
