A radio show recently had a contest to make the funniest/clever band name out of two (or more) existing musical acts, you may combine single artists and bands but it must be a music act....example.
Moody Blues, Simply Red and Flo Rida would make:
Moody Red Flo
(OK, I know that was bad, you should do better then!)

MAD Magazine did something like this several years back. Their idea was combining certain groups for summer tours... Some of their suggestions I remember:
Tom Petty & Johnny Cash: Petty Cash The Police & the Cars: The Police Cars
And here are some of my own:
Meat Loaf & the Specials: The Meatloaf Specials Bad Company & Bad English: Bad English Company Modern English & Art Garfunkel: Modern Art ZZ Top & the Spinners: The Top Spinners Alice Cooper & Al Kooper: Alice Kooper
What is more amusing for me is picturing with my mind's ear how these collaborations/bands would sound.

I thought this thread died too quickly, I want to laugh some more. So I'll try again. (gonna base these like Darrin's MAD combinations, while imagining the odd music it would create)
Grandfunk Railroad/Train : Railroad Train
The Starland Vocal Band/Insane Clown Posse : The Starland Vocal Clown Posse
The Spin Doctors/Dr. Dre : Spin Dr. Dre's
Arrested Development/The Police : Arrested Police
All American Rejects/Europe or Asia : All American Europe or All American Asia
No Doubt/Yes : No Yes
Live/The Grateful Dead : Live Dead
